Combining Victorian architecture with contemporary living, castle view is a first floor duplex apartment that shares the lofty entrance hall with stone and ironwork staircase with the old schoolhouse apartment. The entrance hall is a great space to park buggies/prams. On ascending the stone staircase you enter the extraordinarily generous open-plan living/dining area with part double height ceilings and large Victorian windows providing masses of natural light that boast views out over Kendal rooftops taking in Kendal Castle and the nearby fells. Sleeping up to eight guests this is an ideal apartment for two families holidaying together or groups. The versatile family room sleeps up to four guests and is situated with a shower room on level two of this apartment. It’s appeal is topped off with a small galleried ‘snug’ area where older children and teenagers can lounge and keep a watchful eye on mum and dad!
